"The Young and the Passionate"

I really enjoyed watching this film. It was interesting to see the characters that Fellini used in his other films that carried over to this film because they had very different roles and it showed what kinds of actors he likes. The man who played the "White Shiek" character who also played Alberto in I Vitellioni had very different roles in both of the films. For the "White Shiek" he was a comical character and even how he responded to a serious situation it was still funny to the audience but while he was playing Alberto we see him in a more serious role and even in one point of the film have sympathy for him.

Overall, I felt that this movie was a lot more serious then the other two Fellini films that we have seen. I do see a reoccurring trend on all the films of spouses not being faithful. This had been a major conflict in every film we have seen and I am starting to wondering of something happened to Fellini is his past to make him so devoted to this topic. Also in all of the films the couples stayed together even though they had been unfaithful to each other. I feel that in all of the films there is an under lying theme that it is not possible to be monogamous. The setting for this film was very beautiful and the bond between the characters seemed very realistic.
